The project eRural resilience enables local authorities and business support organisations in rural areas to help SMEs increase their digital literacy in e-marketing of bio products and thus seize new business opportunities.

Changing our food system to one based on the principles of the circular economy is one of the most powerful initiatives we can do to tackle climate change and preserve biodiversity. Various regional municipalities across the Baltics have put food and sustainability as a priority in their long term regional strategic plans. Municipalities need collaboration, partnership, knowledge and understanding about "circular economy for food" program models, implementation methods, tools, evaluation, and policy development.

The project BSR Food Coalition connects local farmers and public authorities to ensure regular access to organic food meals at schools, and thus a continuous demand for healthy food supply.

Rural Proofing, Cooperation for better governance with a rural approach, will foster inter-regional cooperation and exchange between 7 public and private organisations from Spain, Estonia, Ireland and Bulgaria to improve their governance' capacities for co-design and to make the regional impact assessment, Rural Proofing, a routine part of the decision-making process of officials and policies, programmes and initiatives approved by legislative bodies in sparsely populated rural, coastal and mountain areas.

RuralYouthFuture is a European initiative dedicated to enhancing the efficacy of youth employment policies for sustainable rural development. This ambitious endeavor unites municipal, regional, and national entities in a common goal: addressing the unique needs of young individuals in rural territories. By reducing inequalities with their urban peers and combating aging and depopulation, RuralYouthFuture seeks to forge a brighter future.

CiNURGi is a project aimed at developing a circular economy for nutrients in the Baltic Sea Region. The initiative focuses on upgrading current infrastructure and technology to enhance nutrient recovery from biomass and resource streams from agricultural, municipal, and industrial sources. The project’s goal is to facilitate efficient nutrient use and promote the use of recycled fertilizer products.
