Creative Tartumaa training and development program

Creative Tartumaa is a training and development program which is aimed at cultural operators in Tartu County. The program is implemented by the Association of Municipalities of Tartu County in cooperation with cultural policies think tank Creativity Lab. The activities of the program will be carried out in all municipalities of Tartu County from April 2020 to December 2021. Creative Tartumaa is targeted at the cultural operators active in our county (cultural advisors to local authorities, managers of the most important cultural institutions) as well as the cultural operators of the private sector, operators of creative industries, development specialists of local authorities and people who work in the tourism and business development sector.

The aim of the program is to support the implementation of the cultural strategy of Tartu County and develop the skills and competencies of Tartu County cultural operators in the field of cultural management, creative industries management, strategic planning, project preparation and management, new technologies, international cooperation, communication and other related subjects. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of municipalities to make best use of the opportunities provided by the European Capital of Culture title in 2024 and to support the setting up and development of a network of cultural operators in Tartu County.
